I have an organic shape to machine similar to this file included. My part is so tricky that is it doesn't favor a second op soft jaw (even though this part included could be done that way). I looked into doing it all in the 4th axis and then leave a little tab to deburr by hand and it will have post machine finishing process anyways.
I was told to model your stock to be machined into the support you want since you cannot use the Fusion's Tab features for this type of work. I have done that using the sculpt environment which is very favorable to 3D machine tool paths. But the next step would be further refining it for surfacing the contours closest to the "tab" I have sculpted.
The sculpted model would be held in a raptor fixture. And by creating stock that just ends before the dovetail you keep from hitting the work holding. Learned that from Rob's video here, and many of the other things shown in this model approach. - https://f360ap.autodesk.com/courses/fusion-360-academy-portland-2019-manufacturing-cam/lessons/strea...
Tool paths up to this point are fine. But the next step is refining it to machine more of a tab and constraining the tool path to finish closer to the end of the part. I would imagine a lot of 5 axis work is like this for organic parts. I just only have a 4th axis but the approach should be relatively the same. I look forward how others would approach this.
