Hello , new to fusion 360. Wanted to see if I could get some help with this 3D machining of this part. Tried some different ways to get this done. Could you take a look to see if I'm programming this correctly or if I need to be surface milling this differently.

Thank you for your help,

Tony

It's not bad, but I would likely opt to use the Scallop toolpath, it just does such a nice job:

You are over complicating your selections. For the image above, all I did was select the top rim and define my heights

Top Height = Model Top

Bottom Height = Model Bottom

Hey Seth thanks for getting back to me. Are you speaking of doing a
scalloping on all the surfaces? I appreciate you help and feed back .Just
let me know and I'll go the route you suggested. Trying to learn this
fusion 360 little different from featurecam that I used before hand.
Thanks again for your help

I would say that it does depend on the surface finish requirement and quantity required. Scallop CAN take a bit longer to run than, say, a Parallel strategy. The plus side is that selection is easy and it just does a thorough job.

Yes, Fusion is certainly it's own breed..

Welcome to the community!
