I noticed with 3d contour that going up a cone the code is short X,Y moves not smooth circles.  Is it just the way Fusion360 generates the code or am I doing something wrong?

They've disabled smoothing on arcs for the time being. There was a gouging
issue that was being reported

3d Contour should still work if you enable Smoothing. Transitions between levels will always produce a lot of line movements though.

Each pair of circular moves is one level all the line moves are the transitions.

Probably should have done a couple things different:

1) Not answer from my phone

2) Ask for the file so I can see exactly what the OP is talking about

@sstephe1622 could you share your file so we can see what you are dealing with?

File > Export > Save to local folder. Return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

I turned smoothing on and that fixed my problem.  It's for a prototype and there is a NDA.
