3D Adaptive still no warning when stepdown greater than flute length

Can't find my original post about this months ago but this is still a bug. Not sure why that is.

 

Flute length = .875" but I can specify a maximum stepdown of 2" without warning:

You'll also see in the video me hitting the escape key without the tool library closing. You can't see me hitting any keys obviously but every time I do my mouse pointer disappears.
