2d pocket wrap on the inside of a part

I am continuing to work on using the part below to learn multiaxis machining in fusion. I am trying to figure out the best approach to machining the pockets on the inside of this part:

The closest I got to sort of working would be the 2d pocket with a wrap (below) but this would have to work on the side of the part, which does not seem to be an option.

I also tried playing around with flow, but this did not seem to get what I wanted

Steep and shallow seems to be on the right path, but I am failing to get a good tool path:

I am new to the 5 axis side of things and I can think of how I want this pocket to be done: contour outside along wall, then step some distance inward and repeat until the pocket is cleared. This will leave steps between passes, but would be suitable for this test part.   Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of the 5 axis type learning content is on external features, not internal features.

Any help is appreciated.

Best,

Eric

I am still playing around with steep and shallow, which I think may be the ticket. This is closer, but still having trouble getting the the tool to be forced into the corners.

Hi @swimleft

2D pocket doesn't offer any multi axis functionality, its only meant for 2D features.

Steep and shallows multi axis solution looks like the best option for this geometry, its worth having a play around with the different options within the toolpath.

If you can't find a viable solution, you could always make extra 3+2 toolpaths to get the bits your multi axis toolpath didn't get.

Thanks.
