2D Pocket Off Edge of Part - inconsistent

When running 2D pockets off the edge of these parts, some of them pass over the geometry boundary, as expected, and some treat it as an inside pocket, and stay inside the geometry boundary. They were created the same way, and the selection looks the same. Ideas?

C-2 is good. C-4 is wrong.C-2 is good. C-4 is wrong.

There is something different with the C-4 part. I suspect in the original imported document. I corrected the issue by selecting the face and doing a press-pull -0.001". Kind of a kludge but it worked. Not sure what your tolerances are. 😉

See attached.

Interesting. Thanks for checking it out. I'll go back and look at the model I imported it from.

Is that a common fix for "adjusting" surfaces that are goofy?

I cannot say it's common but in an attempt to diagnose what was different between the two that is what worked. 😉
