Hello,

I am looking for some clarification on which post processor I should use in fusion. I am trying to switch my boss to using Fusion, or at least start making some of the programs in fusion and gaining more skills at work.

The reason I'm searching for clarification is because while it's a Fadal machine, it's got a GE Fanuc Series oi-MC controller. I am a bit new to machining, but I'm very capable in fusion and I do know enough to get myself into trouble with the CAM package. I assume that I need to be using a Fanuc post, but I prefer asking questions to making perilous assumptions.

Can anyone tell me which post processor should I be using, or if I need to be using a custom post? Thanks for your time!

Best,

Jeff

Hi

Yes the Fanuc Post is the best place to start

It should work well without any modifications but its always good to check the code output is suitable for your machine
