Wrong selection of contours with arcs

Recently I started getting problems when selecting contours with arcs. Before selection of such contour was would create square projection and now it's something different.

In other cases contour with radius are just not recognized and instead of radius it creates just straight lines.

What is the intent with the both Setups? Your WCS is set to "nothing" for the Z and X axis on your first Setup. Is this a case of your WCS orientation not being set correctly? 

What CAD package were these created in? I'm suspecting that there is something seriously wrong with the models themselves....

Originally, the models were created in SolidEdge. The only purpose of these models and setups is to show the features, which cannot be selected, unfortunately, cannot share the whole model. But they are from multi-axis part, where work orientation is selected for each operation individually and changing orientation did not influence how they could be selected.
