Hey all, I noticed that my 3D adaptive been abit odd lately, By that I mean then its making a massive amount of linear points when cutting out a perfect circle instead of doing arcs?

If I turn smoothing on it reduces it ALOT by doing it as a circular/arc movement.

Im sure it never used to do this? Why would it be turning the circles into lots of linear cuts?

Ive attached an example file with two adaptive tool paths, first without smoothing on the second with. This is the stock adaptive toolpath, just chosen a tool and thats it.

I always run smoothing on my adaptive toolpaths. Pretty certain its never produced arcs (or very little) with it turned off.

Is there a chance you used to do a 2d adaptive or other toolpath your remembering that used to generate less code? Or possibly just started making code for a slower controller and did not notice the data starve issue before? 3d adaptive has also always made an atrocious amount of code for me without smoothing turned on.
