why does my post processor always revert back to default

i have older haas vf3 and every time i try to post g codes it reverts or tries to use Haas next gen control instead of pre NGC (not sure if it matters). i deleted NGC from the local and cloud library. is it possible that it is looking at the machine library and getting it from that? i dont have use "use machine configuration" box checked. Also code puts out G01 f650 on first move instead of G00 which faults out as to fast in machine. would like to back that down or use G00. what is best way?

Do you have a Machine selected in your setup?

If so there is a post associated with the machine, you can change the post by right clicking on the machine in the machine library and selecting "Change selected post"

This will change the post for any Future documents the machine is selected in.

For Machines in existing setups you can open the setup and edit the machine

and select the correct post here:
