And just by looking at this, you can imagine what it done to the part. Yes I didn't check my simulation after an update, my fault, but FFS really!!!!!???????

This also happens when updating the model in design workspace and then coming back to manufacturing workspace.

It has been going on for years but this is the 1st time it has bitten my on the a$$ and big time.

Part is wholly designed and programmed in Fusion.

Now to order some replacement stock and kill my timeline yet again.

Oh dear, that's not good at all. 😢

Would you be able to share your Fusion file privately?
File > Export > Save to local folder, and email it to me: seth DOT madore AT autodesk DOT com
Please reference this thread so I understand the context 🙂

This is something we are taking very seriously and we're actively working on a solution. I do see the incorrect selection in your file, but correcting it and saving the file (and reopening it) isn't producing the error again. Are you able to replicate the issue "at will"?

Is that as the the most recent version or the previous one?

When you share a file, either thru the A360 link or export and share an .f3z/.f3d, we only get the most recent version. Are you saying that it was a valid toolpath when you exported the file?>

It may just be a matter of checking at which version it changed. The latest version shows the incorrect contour again even though I saved it yesterday with the correct contour

Unfortunately no I can not replicate at will.

Next time it happens in between workspaces, I will send it to you.

That first part I did not know, thanks.

I didn't check it before sending it to you now, but I know I saved it yesterday and when I reopened it this morning the error was still there. I just checked, v41 was good, 21st Feb. v42 incorrect contour, 26th Feb. v43 27th Feb (today) all good, after fixed and saved again.

Will it help you to see what is going in the background if you could see all the versions? If so, how can I do this?

The only way for that to work is if I was a member of your Team. I'm open to doing that (the data always stays confidential), but I can understand if you aren't comfortable with that arrangement. If you are open to it, you could invite me to your team and I would be able to see prior versions.

I am ok with that. Will it provide you with greater insight to help understand what is going on?

It would give me the ability to see (and record on video) files that open with correct contour selections and files that do not, and (with your permission), export offending files to use in our bug fix/testing.
