Things that don't get rid of them:

Triangulation tolerance: .1", .01", .001".

Much more stock to leave than tolerance/smoothing

Rest Machining adjustment: Ignore/Machine/Use as

Choose any adaptive toolpath, doesn't matter they all have whisper cuts.

No I can't change my stepover/stepdown, no I can't add more stock to leave.

Hopefully this bug gets fixed within the next 5 years. The number one selling feature of this software for milling broken since inception....

I'd like to have a look, but could you point which of the setups, and which operation we should look at?  Would save some time hunting for it (many operations and setups in the file), thanks!

Sorry, would like some more details still.  Look at picture below, which ones are the problem ones, 1 or 2?  if other, please point to it.  1 thing I would do differently (personal preference only), is that I would probably divide this toolpath into a few toolpaths.  There are too many radius, flat Z faces, etc, and I find that adaptive has a hard time managing so many Z levels perfectly.  For me, it helps managing the whisper cuts as well, as you can tweak a bit more in relation to a simpler geometry selection, specially the flat face detection and fine stepdowns.

All good. I'm interested in getting rid of #1, the redundant stepdowns. I also need to keep "Flat Area Detection" checked.
