What have I done? Why cant i tap these holes??

I need to tap these holes, they are 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. I know it is something that i am doing wrong but i cannot figure it out. Can anyone help me out and show me the error of my ways so to speak. I have attached a file of my part. It looks like i have got it to drill the holes I just cant figure out the tap part.... I get a error message saying most likely chose the wrong tool.

You don't need to model threads, that's the likely cause of your problem, just spot drill drill to chamfer thread, drill and tap.

As Vic @Anonymous  rightly says you don`t need to have modelled threads, however if you do want to keep them for clarity/cosmetic reason then you can`t select the face of the hole, try using the "Selected Points" option, easy enough as you already have them in your sketch, seems to work here, see image below and modified file is attached.
