what am i doing wrong

hi. I am trying to figure out this software and need some help. I have drawn the part and made some g code. I have downloaded this to Mach3 and it is showing on the screen. so far so good. but here is when it all goes wrong. I am using a small hobby proxxon milling machine so the bed size is very small. I have set jogged the tool bit to the left lower corner of the work surface and set to zero and also set the tool to the surface using paper. but when i start the run the tool path starts moving the bed to the far right and i need to stop the run as i am runing out of machine surface.

I think i have set up the start position for the tool run in the wrong place, but i am not sure how to correct this. can anyone help

thanks. michael

You need to set the part zero (aka WCS origin in Fusion 360's CAM setup) before you generate g-code. Then you jog to that points' real-life position on your machine and there you set the zero in Mach3.
