I have attached a photo. What is causing these vertical lines on my part when I machine it? At first I thought it was my tolerance, but I have raised and lowered my tolerance and I am still getting these lines. My finished part looks exactly like it does in the photo. You are able to the all of these segments on the part.

Thank you

Probably where the tool is entering and exiting the cut during the 2D Adaptive, and/or the tolerance of that toolpath being pretty loose.

Try leaving a little bit of stock with the Adaptive and doing a finish pass with 2D Contour so it doesn't have an interrupted cut.

Exactly this. You cannot use 2D/3D Adaptive to finish walls, it is a roughing operation only (aside from custom finishes that some people need). The workflow should almost always be: Adaptive > Contour > Deburr

I am going to try this today. Yes, I was using adaptive as a Finish I didn't realize it was only intended for roughing. I will run a contour on it and see how it turns out. Thank you for ya'lls help!
