How do I get a boring tool to follow the undercut as shown in the screen shot? I want the tool to profile from the outside of the bore as far as I can go without gouging the part, but it skips a large portion of the desired path. What am I doing wrong?

Turn on "Allow Radial and Axial Grooving" in your toolpath settings:

Thank you! That completed the tool path. If you have a moment- why does it leave material on the back wall? Why doesn't the tool path created using projected entities work?

It's leaving material on the bottom because of the boss that's inside the part in conjunction with the tool and tool holder profile
