UCCNC Post Processor not Working Need Help

I am new to CAD CAM so I need help. I downloaded a file and I modified it to play around a bit. But when I hit the post processor it works with Mach3 but when I use UCCNC post both files that I seen on the online library they both give me an error on line 16. I seen line 16 on the Mach3 g code and it is a G0 code. So I am lost at this point. Like I said I am new to CNC but I know G0 is a basic code so I don't know why UCCNC post is not working. Can someone help me please since I am trying to run UCCNC with a G540 on a Sherline 5400. Small CNC machine but it is really nice so far. I just did the conversion about 2 weeks ago and I am trying to do my first test run.

Thank you.

Are you using the UCCNC post?

Could you do the following:

Attach the .nc code that is causing the error. This can have a .nc or .txt extension. Attach any log files, if applicable as well.

Export and attach the .f3d file. File > Export > Save to local folder, attach the .f3d to this thread in your reply

Is it alarming out on the machine/control or in the posting dialog?

In your text file, it says to "see the log for details". The log would be contained in the same directory that you wanted the posted program to be saved to. It might have an extension such as .failed or .log

Do you want me to send you the f3d file I just don't want everyone to use it since it was a download file I got from a site. I just wanted to see if it would work on UCCNC but I been having this problem.

You are using the generic UCCNC post, correct?

If I was to use Mach3 post it works properly but when I use UCCNC post that is where the problem starts. I have UCCNC licensed on my CNC machine and was trying to keep it since I like it more then Mach3 and was trying to avoid the Mach3 license fee if I don't need it.

Thanks

It is failing because you are using tool numbers greater than #99. The post (for whatever reason) is not setup to allow tool numbers greater than 99. This could be changed if there was a definite reason to.

I'd just renumber your tools accordingly.

And fyi, no issue on sharing something like that part on this site. We've seen those before, there are no issues.

Thank you very much and I will renumber the tool but I have one more question if you don't mind. How did you come up with the solution to the error I just would like to know for future reference. How do you get to the log I tried to fine it but had no luck. Once again thank you. Learn something new can some times be a bit of a challenge.

When I posted out the job, I got this window (You should have as well)

I then went into the post processor and saw that it was set to alarm out in excess of 99 tools.

I did not see that window but I did fine some files that looked something like that. But now I know what to look for.

Thanks again
