Turning in negative X space

Got a part (in acetal, 100dia, 32 bore) which has a full 180 deg radius on the front surface and a reverse taper on the bore

To ensure the radius blends on the front I want to use a 55 deg boring tool to turn the OD on the pos X then turn the ID on the neg X

How do I set to output neg X code?

Cheers

Your post would need to be configured to allow for that to take place. What post processor are you using, there are a few posts in existence that produce code for X negative.

Keep in mind though, Fusion needs to be able to recognize that tool as capable of cutting that feature. In this case here, you are trying to turn with what essentially is an OD turning holder. I don't think you are going to be able to generate a toolpath, but I may be mistaken. Do you have a part to share that demonstrates your attempts?

I am currently running into this issue- I would like to create toolpath in negative X, but can only create it in the positive. I tried many changes in setup, tool type etc.

I am on a Haas Tl-2  with Left Handed CNMG432.
