turning beyond model length

Hello,

I am turning a profile and I would like the tool to go past the part far enough to allow for the parting tool to start the cut at the turned diameter.  I have been playing around for a little while now and can not seem to get the desired results from the CAM.  Am I over looking something or is this what it produces?

On your Geometry tab turn on Confinement and add a positive value equal to the distance you want to profile past your part. No need to select any geometry unless you want to confine it between specific areas.
