Trouble with cam

I am trying to face off 0.012in on part using 2d pocket or facing ops, facing will not stay in selected contours and 2d pocket makes 4 passes just to take 0.12in do not know how to fix . Any help appreciated

You're getting 4 passes because you have selected 4 pockets. If you just select the corner one (the edges of it), you should be good to go:

To make a partial chain selection, hold down the ALT key and select the edge.
