Trouble programming 3D Curved surface

Hi guys

I'm having trouble selecting a curved surface to 3D machine.  Not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong.  I'm aware the bit I'm using is not 'long' enough in the program- attached is the file and screenshot. I created a surface from the 3D part to machine so the passes go past the part, this usually works for me creating convex edges for Harmon Hinge doors PoolCueV1.JPG

Here's an updated version with the toolpaths in order of what I'm trying to do and it's pretty close but selecting those surfaces is kind of strange to me.  I traded the 5/8" ball for a 1/8" 3D machining bit

Thanks all

Hi @ruga666,

Is this what you are looking for?

touch surface.PNGtoolpath.PNG

if so you just need to select the surface or body in the avoid/touch surface tab (the highlighted text)

also looking at your toolpath with the tool selected this wont machine the Radius at the bottom due to the taper on the flute unless your on a 5 axis machine?

Thanks,

Joe.
