Toolpaths different in simulation

I have been playing around with using the contour strategy for chamfering due to the ability to machine modelled chamfers. I've noticed that I often get wildly different toolpaths between what's shown after its generated to when the operation is simulated. Please see the two photos which I hope demonstrates what I mean.

It looks like you are using In control compensation, is that right.  That's the exact behavior I get when I turn on In Control compensation.    The tool path you see in the canvases is the exact tool path that fusion is generating. When you go to simulation, fusion (in a effort to accurately simulate) compensates for the tool diameter. This is the normal expected behavior.

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you for your response. That makes sense.
