Toolpath with Custom Bit

Good afternoon. I need some help with processing a toolpath I have been unable to figure out. I have a custom cnc bit that I want to run on a path that starts outside of the material's edge and exists the same way the same distance down from the board surface. Reason is, the bit is flared at the bottom and entry from the top would create a large hole. I'm just not sure what 2D path to use or if the toolpath line should be on an offset plane where the bottom of the bit would be cutting. I attached an image of the toolpath to show an example path however the path would be below the surface.

Any direction/thoughts would be great and I hope this explanation is sufficient.

Thank you in advance!

Please attach your model with the custom bit added to the tool list in the Manufacturing Environment.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Thank you. Not sure what changed in the recent update but it appears to be doing what I was hoping it would. I'll fire the machine up and test it. Thank you for your reply.
