Toolpath optimization

I’m hoping someone can help.

machine:

Laguna CNC router

issue :

when generating pocket toolpaths, instead of milling back and forth the tool mills ,lifts , goes back to plunge point and mills more . Is there a way to make it mill back and forth ??
