Toolpath fails to recompute after moving component

I use Fusion 360 to generate toolpaths for a CNC router. I arrange parts for cutting manually because I use the free version of Fusion and I don't have access to the build-in arrange function. If I create a toolpath in the Manufacture space, return to the design space to re-arrange my parts for extra clearance, then return to the Manufacture space there is a problem. Fusion still says that my toolpath is up to date, but it hasn't been updated to reflect the change I just made. Even when I force Fusion to generate that toolpath again, the error is still there. Also, if I use the "Clear toolpath" menu function and then generate it, the result is still wrong - or at least the preview is wrong. I'm not sure, maybe it updates the intermediate code, but not the preview. In the included screenshot I have highlighted in blue two instances where I moved parts and regenerated the toolpath, but the toolpath in the preview still reflects the previous location of the parts. I have also highlighted in orange two other places where the toolpath is now up to date, but the preview is still showing evidence of the previous locations of those parts. Writing out the file, then regenerating the toolpath doesn't help either. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

Please attach your model.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

I do not see any issue with moving components and then regenerating the toolpaths.  My guess is you are moving the components "off plane" causing issues when you return to the manufacturing environment.  You also need to save your model or use "Ctrl+B" to update it before returning to the Manufacturing environment.

When I open your file it has a capture position pending, it's not a good idea to leave the design in that state. The file actually regens OK for me but that could be because I've only just opened it. It will not always cause a problem but I can make your design fail to update if I move several components and leave it with a capture position pending.

Mark Hughes - Bingo! I tried this many times. Sometimes Fusion would realize that the toolpath needed updating after the move, others times it didn't. Now I see that  you are correct. When it doesn't work correctly, a "capture position" is pending. After I do the "capture", Fusion will mark the toolpath as being out of date. After I do the update, the preview is correct. Many thanks!!!
