Attached is a fairly simple part that I can't make good cutter path for using Fusion

yes i know fusion wants to waste lots of time and material using oversize stock and decking off 1/8 inch

as a 2nd opp like all the videos but I would prefer holding rigidly with  3/4 inch in a vise and 0 waste.

Assuming the software is capable enough, where do I learn?

the self paced learning doesn't seem to teach me enough

same for NYCCNC free videos and paid online courses

1) why does 1st 3d adaptive completely fail to cut right end of part but  derived

2nd 3d adaptive rest machine cuts it?

then hits vise jaw but that is a separate issue

2) thoughts on training ? videos or especially tutorials? or ?

thanks

The default settings on adaptive seemed to clear all the necessary areas up. Something else I noticed about your design in that you've got some sharp corners in it. If you see the screengrab attached ' Learning Experience, Tight Rad'. It will be impossible to get this sharp corner, I'd suggest altering the design to a radius thats possible to achieve.

In terms of learning material, its all online. I'd suggest utilising everything which is offered for free, such as the learning panel, YouTube videos etc. Trial and error and more frequent use will do the job. Its a super easy package to use in comparison to others. This place is also a good for advice (the forums), we have a lot of staff members and community members who are always willing to offer a helping hand!

Hope this helps @mmharris
