i'm trying to create a finishing pass on the radial side of some fins. for the roughing i have used a 1/4 flat end mill, the slot size is 3/8. this is working fine.
When i go to add another slot operation with the same 1/4" end mill, is shows a warning that the contour is too small or the tool is too big. again, the tool is 1/4 and the slot is 3/8. not sure why this error is coming up and how to overcome it. thanks.
