Tool paths and simulation view being buggy

When I show the toolpath for a 2D contour edge cleaning operation it properly circles around my part, and when I simulate that one operation by itself everything looks fine. However, when I simulate the whole setup the tool path spontaneously changes and takes the bit right through the piece. What's going on here?

Your pictures dont show, Can you File>Export>*.f3D and attach your file so someone else can see your file and hopefully tell you if/what is wrong.

Something is very wrong with simulation, Axis were not defined in setup and I fixed anything that didn't seem right, tried new sketch for 2D contour thinking that model may have bad edges and nothing works.

Program posts without showing crash but having this going on in simulation does not give me confidence.

I graphically check my G-code after posting anything but having good visual assessment in simulation is important during programming.

Yep, something definitely broken here, in regards to Simulation. The posted code is correct, so this is "just" a Simulation issue.

In digging into this, I found that the issue goes away when you delete the last suppressed toolpath. Why? Don't know. But, I opened up CAM-27303 to investigate closer

Seems to work OK here with all the "junk" removed from Design, theory, something from all the Sketches/Constructions etc, etc is being picked up somehow.

"Ghosts" again ??? 🙂 🙂

If the Screencast doesn`t show up, (Broken again???) then here is a link to it :-

BTW, forgot to mention, I only worked with solids for the toolpaths

Stay Safe
