In the past I have used the center of Ball for toolheight setup, but I am not able to find this setting in Fusion 360

Currently Fusion doesn't support anything other than tool tip for offset, at least as far as I know.

Can you show me a picture of that? Not quite clear what you mean by "use the center of the ball".

This is center of radius tool offset which I believe is most useful for using a 3-/multi-axis radius compensation where the machine is capable of it which is used commonly in 3D mold work where the radius of a ball mill is not exact. The toolpath is programmed from the center of the tool nose radius:

OK -- and how did you specify that offset? This isn't a form tool, is it?

This is just an example to show where the tool offset would be in this situation, a quick mock-up made up in SW.

 

Edit: ah, yes in HSMWorks I believe it can be set manually but no such functionality exists in Fusion.
