Im boring Ø2.05" x 3.50 deep from a Ø2.00 existing.

(**THIS IS WHERE MY TOOL IS IN THE Z AXIS***)

G0 Z0.0706
X1.97 Y0.
G50 S1000
G96
S200 M3
X1.9746
G1 X2.05 Z0.0   F0.005

why would I want my tool to approach from an angle? How do I approach at 0.0°?

setting 0.0°approach in the linking tab does nothing. I want that Z 0.0 on the above line gone!!

how do i get a result that doesn't move the Z position while approaching the finish Ø?

Z-3.5156
X1.97 F0.007

When is the next update? And can I expect to see some continuity? This has been extremely frustrating and it is difficult to continue with this software that is obviously directed towards hobbyists and public schools. I've been using Fusion 360 since 2015 and I find it very difficult to imagine why I would go another five years if when I need it most, I have to relearn it.

@jbulat

We're trying to simplify the turning workflow but also make it more powerful so it can be used not just by hobby shops but by the industry in general. This is the reason for revamping the profiling strategies. I can help you with your specific case if you attach it to this thread. As for the update unfortunately due to corporate policy I cannot comment on when exactly it will be available.
