The G-code is calling for tool #4 offset length for tool #2.  Any idea why?

Thanks,

I'd guess you have the length offset wrong in the tool library.

Turns out it was because I edited the tool number. The tool numbers was #4 but I changed it to #2. I had to delete the tool and create a new one and it was fine. Seams like a bug to me. Easy to break an endmill with that bug. Craig

How did you change the tool number, did you use Renumber Tools or manualy change the tool number using the dialog below. If you changed the tool number manualy you need to change the tool number and the length offset to match.

Oh, Thats is what that number is. I thought it was a length and I ignored it. Ok, thanks! Any idea why fusion 360 keeps freezing? I click Manage Tools and it just freezes. I can't use Fusion 360 at all after that. I restart the computer and Fusion 360 works again but if I click Manage Tools again, it freezes. I have to uninstall Fusion 360 and delete all associated files on my computer, then reinstall it. This has happened like 10 times or more in the last 3-4 months. Craig

I'm not having any problems, are you using a PC or Mac. Don't know whether you would get more help/advice in the Design, Validate & Document forum on problems with your install.
