Team Hub CAM assets not syncing!

I have access to 2 other team hubs but when I sign in the assets don't sync. I have access to the folder in Fusion's data panel and if I rename a machine or library it will sync. I've seen the same on my nephew's PC as well, only way to get it to sync all the cloud libraries and machines etc. was to rename in the data panel. Any way to force Fusion to sync the assets project? Fusion can obviously see the info in the folder its just not downloading them.

Here you can see after renaming a couple of the machines they show up in the CAMMachines folder on this PC.

How repeatable is this? Ie can you force it into that state after clearing out the cache directories (with Fusion shut down)?

We would really like to be able to get better visibility into exactly what's going on, but so far a reproducible scenario has been elusive.

So far seen this on 3 occasions and seems repeatable. You just need someone to share a hub with you that has tools and posts etc. in its assets folder, to see the assets you'll need to be a team member. At this point I could see the libraries in Fusion's data panel but when I go to the manufacture workspace no cloud libraries,  tools or machines show. Also checking the folders in windows file explorer show them as empty.

Thye PCs where I've had trouble had personal hubs setup with assets and had been used for a couple of years. Only had the problem after getting access to the team assets folder.

I have finally got it to sync. I tried a couple of things and not quite sure which one made the difference or if I needed both. First thing I tried was in Fusion's data panel I opened the Assets folder then from the settings icon selected Cache This Project, this didn't seem to make any difference. Next I just toggled Fusion into offline then online mode and the files started to sync.

I'll test again tonight on my notebook as I don't think I've used it with the team hub.

Thanks Mark

FWIW, I have a friend that has been telling me the same thing. Keeping an eye on this thread to see if any solution pops up..

Are you able to invite me into the team hub?

Also, if you could spare some time, would you be willing to do a shared desktop session with me so that I can see firsthand what's happening? I'm in California today & tomorrow, and Portland Thu & Fri, so on west coast time (not that I make much of a transition when I'm traveling...).

Thanks,

  Jeff

I'll see if I can set something up on a hub I don't use to experiment with. As I said above I've got it to sync up now and once it starts working it's fine. Not had any problems once all the data downloads it's just getting fusion to download the first time you join a new hub.

I had tried disabling cloud libraries, shut Fusion down, restart re enable libraries. This didn't work.

Tried going to the assets folder in Fusion's data panel and manually Cache This Project from Settings. Also didn't work.

Renaming a post processor in Fusion's data panel made that post sync.

Last thing I tried was while in Assets CAMPosts folder I toggled Fusion into offline mode then as soon as I toggled back to online all the assets data in all folders started to download. I had file manager running and could see the posts appear in the CAMPosts folder on my PC.

I'd love to see this in action, if we can coordinate a time. What time zone are you in?

Trouble is there's nothing to see now, now I've got Fusion to download the files it works fine.

I needed to setup a new account last week so have a team hub that's pretty much empty. I'll copy some posts and tool libraries to it and share a project with you. Do you want to PM me an email address so I can invite you? Might be a couple of days though. You probably want to have an install that's already working on a hub with local libraries so you get a like for like test.

Oh and I'm in the UK so time zone is GMT.

OK, thanks. Please advise. I can be flexible to your time zone, especially when I get back to MI.

I would prefer to see it happen on your system; historically I haven't been able to get it to reproduce here, so just getting it to have issues *somewhere* is a good start.

Thanks for the help,

  Jeff
