Tangential Extension - Not working like expected

Good evening everyone.

In the attached part, I have 2 finishing passes programmed. In both, I want to extend the pass out past the back/front limits so the insert doesn't cut the radius on the outside edges. I tried adding a tangential extension of .1 but that doesn't work on both, the toolpath isn't like its supposed to be. Can't figure out why. Any ideas?

Hi @jeph00

I removed the tangential extension as this will follow the model profile(ie the radius) and added a lead out at zero degrees.

I think this is what you are after.

@jeph00 FYI what you were doing was also correct and should have worked. I've created a ticket to look into it.
