Sub-spindle - Xfer Position: Failed to Evaluate Expression.

Hello. I'm trying to post this sub-spindle lathe program to a Mazak QT Nexus 250-II MS (year: 2011).

The post I'm using is this:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/hsm-post-processor-ideas/post-for-mazak-quick-turn-250-matrix-nexus-c...

When I try to post I get these messages:

XferGrabPosition: Failed to Evaluate Expression.

XferSubPosition: Failed to Evaluate Expression.

XferRapidPosition: Failed to Evaluate Expression.

Obviously, it's something to do with the sub-spindle transfer but I have no clue what the problem is or how to fix it. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Well, this may not be of much use to you as I am not able to replicate your error unless I try to use "Adaptive Roughing" !!

What I do get is that the Roughing Profile in Setup "Default Primary" will not Post, if it is supressed then all the rest of the toolpaths will post OK.

What I did find was that if I changed the Outer Radius from "Stock OD" to "Model OD" then all toolpaths did post OK.

Very weird for sure, apologies but that is all I have right now !! 🙂

Did you use the "mazak quickturn.cps" post? If so could you share the output here, please? It would help me a ton to get started with our new Mazak machine.

Apologies for the delay, been keeping up with the F1 Grand Prix from Austin 🙂 🙂 🙂 Great win for Max 🙂 🙂 🙂

OK, if you are sure that the correct Post Processor is the one from your link then that is what I have used, attached is the G Code file as generated here, also the actual Post Processor I used and the modified Fusion f3d file. Had to Zip the G Code as the Forum doesn`t support EIA extension files 😞

Hope they are of some use to you 🙂 🙂 🙂

Thank you. I'm not 100% sure if this is the right post or not. It's the closest one I could find to the actual machine. Fingers crossed it will work...
