I often overwrite my stored template files when I make revisions to the toolpath data within a given template. Currently, I have to make sure I type in the exact same name as the stored template I am overwriting so that I don't create an additional file. In order to make sure I get the file name right, I open the template page in A360 and copy/paste the name of the file in question. It would be great if a directory of all existing template files were accessible at the time of saving the template file so that I could simply select the file I want to overwrite without having to reference the file name in A360 (or type it in from memory).
As far as I know, overwriting templates is the only way to revise them. Let me know if there is a better way. This is my current workflow for maintaining templates: I maintain a part file with all of my template toolpaths. If I want to update a template file, I open the part file and make the changes to the toolpath I want to change. I then store the revised toolpath as a template, overwriting the existing stored template file.
