Simulation multi Axis rotation

Hello All,

I have searched for a while and haven't been able to find anything about this.

In Mastercam, I can swich back and forth between the tool rotating around the part, or the part rotating and the tool staying stationary.I want the tool to remain vertical when simulating multi axis in certain machines or when i so choose.I want the tool to remain vertical when simulating multi axis in certain machines or when i so choose.

I really like to see the part rotating since i am working on a 4th axis.

I use the "rotate tool" option in mastercam if the CNC machine's head has the additional axis.

I always used the "rotate part" option in the horizontal's and on other standard 4th axis machines.

Any help here?

Unfortunately that facility is not yet available in Fusion simulation, you only get the tool going around the part, I believe it is in the near future but as yet there is no official timeline, just have to be patient.

It is nice to have all three simulation options like MasterCAM, BobCAD-CAM and several others, (I have both) their simulations are provided by I believe Modulwerks in Germany and of course they would require payment for every licence sold so that is one of the reasons that other CadCAM softwares are much more expensive, Fusion have many thousands of Licenced users, lots of $$$$ to have the nice simulation for everyone, just look at the price Autodesk are asking for Fusion 360, I doubt they could do it for that price if they had to pay for the best simulation 🙂 🙂 🙂

Apologies for being the bearer of not so glad tidings 😞 😞 😞

Stay Safe

Regards
