Hi,
I am trying to do a program for our machine that used a 3 axis milling machine with a 2 axis rotary A+C
I have got my machine setup in MTB and is simulating correctly with my toolpath and utilizes 4+1 logic I.E 4 axis can move simultaneous 1 stays stationary.
Now the problem i am having is that the post outputs using CYCLE800 but the trouble is the CYCLE800 only posts correctly when TCP is enabled.... Trouble being the machine doesn't support TCP and only supported on the 840D controller, Which sadly ours is only the 828D
So what happens is the part is setup in the XYZ orientation on the rotary with the datum on the top and and centre of the piece.
The first operation the part utilizes a rotary contour toolpath which brings the part down A-90 but the trouble im having is when i run this on the machine because CYCLE800 isn't being written correctly output correctly the machine follows the toolpath as if it was at the original rotation it doesn't follow the rotation as CYCLE800 is supposed to do.
Please find attached the program and also a video of what i am trying to achieve
Note in the program i have added it outputs CYCLE800 but doesn't populate it. The only way i can get CYCLE800 to work is to enable TCP which isn't supported by the machine as the post tries to output TRAORI which is only supported on 840D
