Setup for Lathe

Hi,

I tried generating a toolpath to use the lathe and my actual part turns out to be off by two times the measurements of my original part dimensions and I think it has something to do with setting the radial dimensional mode.

Is there a way for me to set the radial dimensional mode to "diameter?" Right now, I have one choice which is "radius." I am using the free version of fusion 360.

Thanks for your help!

Hello!

There is usually a setting inside your CNC controller that toggles between radius and diameter mode, but in case your control doesn't have that option, or if it doesn't support that option, there is a way to modify the post processor to do this. Please see this thread: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/computer-aided-machining-cam/newbie-having-problems-turning-a-simple-...

Let me know if you have any questions!

I just changed the scale to 1 and saved as a different file name and it worked! Thank you very much!
