Setup BUG.

The last update reset all my manufacture setting on both of my PCs so I've gradually gone through resetting my defaults, problem is there's no option to set fixture offset. I know I can set all from the browser but that's not always a good idea.

No three dots.

Also when will the option to save your stock mode get fixed? It was broken about 4 years ago! Am I the only one who needs from proceeding setup about 0.1% of the time so it's wrong 999 times out of 1000?

I think the stock option is situation dependent. If I do a new setup in a job, it goes to preceding setup. In a new file, it goes to Relative Sized box.

Please click "Accept Solution" if what I wrote solved your issue!

I know that but it didn't used to work like that and you have the option to save your preference. This used to work, the way it is now is for me always wrong.

For Setups, you can also "Compare and Edit". There is a ticket open for the 3-dot menu for this field, it was just overlooked when we went to that method of setting defaults.

Just chiming in to say that I also find the "from proceeding setup" behavior to be annoying. It just means extra clicks for me. I generally prefer using solid bodies for my stock because it gives me more control over the setup. We use Fusion for millwork at my company and I could be creating dozens of setups  at a time and those extra clicks become grating after a while.

There was a behavior that went away I think at the same time the proceeding setup change occurred that I really liked and was ideal for my workflow. It used to be that when you had the stock tab open if you clicked a body in the workspace it would automatically select "from body" mode using what I just selected. This was super efficient for workflows using from body stock and I was really disappointed when this behavior was removed, especially given that I don't really see how this would get in anyone's way if they aren't using from body stock.

I wish you could just turn these behaviors on and off in the settings so users could create the workflow that works best for them.
