Hello!

I have noticed that the menu options for setting up a machine from the machine library has changed from menus I have seen online. There is no dimensions tab as there was before. And it is unclear how to setup the spindle. How do I set the dimensions with  this current UI menu? What about the spindle?Current menuCurrent menuOlder version with more features!?Older version with more features!?

That information is now shown in the Kinematics:

That was my first guess, however when inputing any measurements into the limited range, the dimensions of the machine on the info tab, still reads as 0mm X, 0mm Y, 0mm Z. I have also tried 0in (min) and 48in (max), since the bed is a 4'x4'. This also did not update the dimensions of the machine. What do you think?I have entered 0 - 48in rangedI have entered 0 - 48in rangedthe dimensions are still 0. Also, I have tried doing the 48 in in mm and it still did nothing.the dimensions are still 0. Also, I have tried doing the 48 in in mm and it still did nothing.

I am not sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say "that field is likely not intended to be there". What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

I simply want to update the dimensions of the machine

Right, but that's not going to actually do anything in terms of its size or anything. It's (I suspect) just supposed to be a simple data string to filter thru if you have many machines and you're trying to determine where something would best fit.

I see. I thought it would impact my setup potentially. It seems like the software isn't properly registering the dimensions from registering the range. This seems like a minor glitch perhaps since it seems like an inconsequential variable from what I understand

@seth.madore Yes, you are right, these dimensions should be hidden for subtractive machines. We have a ticket CAM-39110 to track this issue.
