Setting up lathe boring bar

I have a Tormach Slant-PRO lathe and I'm trying to set up the Tormach S06S-STFCR-3 boring bar tool. It's the middle-size tool in this set. It uses this cutting insert.

The bar is round with flats, and has a triangular insert. The front-facing width of the bar, from bar to tip of insert, is about 11.6 mm. The bar diameter is less than 10 mm.

When I try to put all this in Fusion 360, I get a square tool holder that collides with the part. There's a "Cross Section" setting for the tool, but it's just a bunch of letters. I chose a few different ones but didn't see any difference in CAM.

Is there good documentation or a good example of how to set up lathe tooling? Thanks.

JetForMe,

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am running in to the same problem right now and it is infuriating!

Thank you,

RJ

No, sadly, I never did. I think I just worked around it somehow, or used PathPilot's conversational programming. I don't use my lathe much, unfortunately.
