No matter which function I try I cannot get my object to flip upside down so I can start the CAM process for milling. Is there a command line function to do this or is there a step or function used for it which does not match its function?

If you want to adjust view angle, the easiest way to do is to hold left mouse and drag down the view cube at the top right corner in canvas. The same workflow could be accomplished by holding on Shift+Middle mouse key.

If you want to flip the part in space, you could switch to the "MODEL" workspace, select the part and use "MOVE" command to rotate and reposition the part.

Hope this is helpful.

Bo

In the CAM workspace click Setup, on the setup dialog fist under Model pick the part you want to machine, then under Orientation pick "Select Z axis/plane & X axis. Pick the face you want the Z axis pointing away from, for the X axis pick an edge parallel then pick an origin point. Here's a Screencast demonstrating how you can use setups.

Can you upload your part. From the File Menu select Export and save as an f3d file.

Also see this screencast it shows how to orientate setups to fit your part.
