Sample Tool Libraries Missing

In "Manage Tool Library" in my "Fusion 360 Library" both "Sample Tools - Inch" and "Sample Tools - Metric" are missing. I was scrolling in the list of libraries, and they just disappeared. I'm not sure if I accidentally clicked something or what caused them to disappear. How can I get them back?

Hi @mlitzkow ,

We made some improvements to the sample tool libraries in last month's release, which included removing these two in favour of new ones with more specific names, e.g. "Milling Tools (Metric)" . All the same tools as before should still be present, just in different places.

If you don't see any libraries below "Fusion 360 Library" on the left, you may have collapsed it by mistake. In that case, click on the ">" to the immediate left of "Fusion 360 Library" to show the libraries underneath it. You may also need to scroll down.

In any case if you click on "Fusion 360 Library" in the left-hand tree, then use the Filters on the right-hand side, then you should be able to find the tool you're looking for. If there's a specific kind of tool you want and it's not there then let us know.

Thank you, this makes sense. I see the newly named libraries in the tree, so I should be ready to go.

I'm not sure of a better way to handle this kind of change, but there are a lot of training courses, YouTubes, etc. out there (both Autodesk and third-party) that use those "sample" libraries. I'm sure I won't be the only beginner who will be confused by this change.  On the other hand, I respect Autodesk's need to make continuous improvements to its product.

Again, thanks for your help.
