Hi,
I wish Fusion 360 was a bit smart when placing automatic tabs so it only would place them on straight segments and not inside for instance a corner, as seen on the picture. I know about manual tabs, but those can be a lot of work to put.

Hmm, I can't say that I've seen this before. While it's been the case where they do appear close to a corner, I don't think I've ever seen them loop around. Would you be able to share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d/.f3z file in your reply.
-EDIT- One of our developers was able to quickly reproduce this issue and we've logged CAM-56495 to investigate the issue

Here I would also have preferred if the tab was placed on the straight segment a few mm to the right:
It could also be great if it avoided placing them where there's little material. In this example the highlighted tabs would both be better placed a bit to the side of their current location. (I could of course also have a larger distance between the parts, but one can dream 🙂 .)
