Renishaw Probing Update

Renishaw released an update for probing and it now uses new macro calls. Is there a way to change the post to now post the correct macros or will fusion be updated to support the new package.

NOTE: For those with a Renishaw probe updates are free, you just have to call them and they'll give you the latest updates.

What changed? If the format is the same but the numbers are slightly different, a post edit is going to be easy. If they expect/want a whole bunch of new language, then that will be more involved...

At any rate, all the changes need to occur on the post side, as that is how all the codes are handled.

You're correct that it's a post update but it's entirely new logic. However it's also greatly simplified down into one line, and also smarter in that you can now link cycles together using C0. and C1. variables.

So to probe an X surface using the old code looked like this:

With the new update all of that above code is done with this:

G65 P9901 M1. C0. A1. I0. X7.5906 Y0. Z-.5136 S54.

 
You could also get fancy and link different cycles together like this for a Z surface and an X surface:

That looks pretty cool and compact.

It would CERTAINLY require a post update, and I don't think I've heard any chatter from the post team about bringing in this functionality..
