Profile Finishing- Allow Radial Grooving (needs more control)

Hi Team,

Looking for some assistance here if possible as we are trying to assist a Fusion 360 customer on this problem as soon as possible.

Attached is a Shaft Model that we are machining.

I have something going on that I cannot solve.

Please look as Setup3 Duplicated_Supt

The Profile Finishing Op4 ( does not respect the model on 2 of the impeller fits. Its cutting EXACTLY .030 (Radially) to small.  Its disrespecting the model body.

The toolpath is just fine until it gets to the 4.125 Diameter (copper face color) then it does not follow the model for the 4.185 dia. 9(copper face color) and the 4.180 dia (copper face color)

Why does this Op4 operation viloate the shaft model??

I duplicated Op4 and turned on Allow Axial Grooving.  Now the toolpath follows all diameters as it should.

This issue here is that we want to Allow axial grooving to machine the larger diamters face but avoid the groove features.

I saw forum post going back over a year ago saying this was going to fixed..

Am I missing something here possibly?

I welcome any input or advice here on this,

Thanks in advance.
