Problem with strategy

Hello,

I have a problem with one strategy...thel last one in the attached file.

I try to mill with 2mm blade and the max stepdown is set on 0,5mm, but in the first pass the tool go down 1,5mm.

Can you tell me what is wrong with it?

It looks like this might be due to your Rest Machining settings. 

You're currently allowing the entire model to be consider in you toolpath.

You might just want to issolate the countours by choosing the two hook loops instead of using Rest Machining, or adjust your Rest machining setting to suite your needs.

Use 2D contour instead, rough in even stepdowns, leave radial stock and follow with finish pass.
