What is the difference between the PROBE WCS FEATURE and the PROBE GEOMETRY FEATURE other than being able to override the WCS?

Hi @Anonymous,

Probe WCS uses the machines macros to set the WCS and can also do things like error if the feature is out of tolerance or out of position.

Probe geometry DOES NOT update the wcs, but can probe a feature to check its size or position and additionally automatically update the tool wear based on the size of the measured feature.

Inspect surface allows you to place probe points anywhere accessible on a part. Then gain a point by point inspection report that you can see visually back inside of Fusion 360.
