We will be archiving the Preview Functionality forum and using the Feedback Hub to host conversations about previews from now on.
Using this approach, each product manager / experience designer / researcher responsible for a given preview will be the owner of the Feedback Hub post on that topic. We think this will result in more meaningful and timely communication between the community and the people working on Fusion 360.
Thanks for all your help on the Preview forum, we look forward to engaging with you on the Feedback Hub.
As announced here on September, 2019, we will also be archiving the Fusion 360 IdeaStation onSaturday, February 15th. Over the years, the IdeaStation has helped us collect an incredible amount of customer input, with over 8,000 ideas. However, due to the sheer volume of ideas, there are often great nuggets of feedback that get lost, and are frequently repeated in multiple posts by different users. Even for the ideas we’ve accepted, it’s become difficult to draw attention from the community to influence our active development projects.
We believe the IdeaStation model has served its purpose, and are excited by the engagement on our recently launched Fusion 360 Feedback Hub. The Feedback Hub puts the power of you, the community, directly into the decision making process for active development projects.
The archive of the IdeaStation will be something the Autodesk team will be able to continue to reference as we move forward, but new submissions, voting and commenting will be disabled there.
