I have a custom CNC mill with a rotary that we need to post to.   It runs a LinuxCNC controller that obeys RS274 spec g code.   We have a rotary on this mill and the rotary is the A axis.   I get the following screen shot errors.   Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using a Machine Configuration that has an -A- Axis defined? The EMC2 will give you -A- axis code if you use a machine config:

I've tried to change that and I get the following errors on saving.   I've tried a few times with the same results.   Any suggestions on this?

You need to save your file before you can add a machine to the Setup

Thanks for working with me on this.   I closed out and saved the file.   When I went to post again I had the same issue.    I think the log is the same as before but this is the current screen shot...

If you try unchecking this box?
the same error happened to me, because I used a post initially configured for 3 axes with option to configure a rotary axis (A), then the post has a machine configuration and when writing the NC it conflicts with the machine configuration of that box.

Hi.

Thank you I did try that but ran into the same issues.   Maybe I am not configured correctly?   If I am not, i'm not sure how to.   Any help with this would be appreciated.

I am able to get portions to post.   I have a bore operation and it will post that.   I went through the list of operations and toggled one on at a time and could get the bore options to run.   I couldn't get the drill or thread operations to post.    I'm pretty green to fusion but I feel that if I can toggle on/off what is stumbling me, I should be good to go.   Thanks,
